Each week, Funniest Wins competitors will learn a different comedy style, guided by Marlon Wayans and guests who will include Wayans’ comedian friends or family members. The aspiring comedians will test what they’ve been shown in front of an audience, with one person being eliminated until only one remains. The winner will receive a cash prize and an online series for Wayans’ site WhatTheFunny.com.

Each episode would focus on one main dare, in the form of an elaborate stunt carried out under professional supervision, that would be attempted by an unsuspecting person ambushed by host Mike Whitney because they had been nominated by a friend, family member or work colleague to appear on the show, with much of the run time of the episode devoted to the contestant's training and preparation, witnessed by co-host Tania Zaetta. This main dare was bookended by several "street dares" in which Mike would travel to streets and shopping centres around Australia challenging people to complete tasks like getting all their hair shaved off or putting their hand into a container of cockroaches, with people who succeeded in these tasks winning A$50 cash.

The Earth Wins explores the delicate balance between man and Mother Earth, our inter-dependence and the impact of man's actions upon the earth and her inhabitants. With music from Coldplay, The Temper Trap, New Order, indigenous musicians, and commissioned choral pieces, The Earth Wins is a visceral experience celebrating the magnificent diversity of the earth's riches and asking the most important questions of all, "How do we save ourselves from causing the planet's destruction?"

The story begins in a bleak, post-apocalyptic setting with Ji-hye and Tae-jun, who are injured and on the run. They encounter a seemingly abandoned building filled with discarded clothing and, in the process, find a camcorder. By peeking into the camcorder, they enter a world of happy memories and a life where they are not burdened by their disabilities.
